Social media website

Facebook has introduced new tools in India that will help protect the profile picture from being downloaded and shared. The move may reduce misuse of photographs.  The profile picture on Facebook lets people find each other and connect with each other. However, not everyone considers the profile picture safe.  Facebook researchers found that some women do not seem safe to share their profile picture as their face looks as they fear their photo may be misused.  New Delhi-based Centre for Social Research and Learning Links Foundation has developed innovative tools with many Organisations.
