The WWE has included women's competition in their priority list for some time already. Moving forward in this direction, it has included an Indian woman for the first time in the competition.

Kavita Devi is the first Indian woman to be part of WWE Mae Young Classic tournament, which has got the chance to get involved in WWE wrestling competition

This announcement was made by WWE Champion Zindar Mahal on Delhi tour. Kavita has been a prestigious power-lifter and he had won gold medal for the country in 2016 South Asian Games. By taking part in Mae Young Classic, Kavita has become the first Indian woman to compete in the WWE ring.

WWE heavyweight champion The Great Khali has trained Kavita whose interest was Kabaddi at high school.

Kavita WWE official training will begin in January in the US based WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
